The 2-minute task triage

Your brain is a terrible to-do list. It remembers the wrong things at 2am and forgets the dentist.

The triage

  1. Dump everything for 5 minutes. No sorting.
  2. Under 2 minutes? Do it now (David Allen’s two-minute rule).
  3. Has a deadline? Put it on the calendar, not the list.
  4. Pick 3 for today. The rest is a backlog, not a moral failing.

Why it works

Externalizing tasks reduces the load on working memory, which matters even more with ADHD. Fewer open loops, less background anxiety.

Next step

Give your top 3 a slot on the calendar with flexible time-blocking. If starting is the hard part, try body doubling.

The weekly drop

One tactic, one tool, one meme. 3-minute read. No spam, no guru energy.
